From Trenca Association we want to wish you Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

This 2015 has been a good year for the Association, with the consolidation of some of the projects and with the illusion and espectativas generated by the new ones!

The Supplementary Feeding Points (SFP) have turned into a fundamental tool for the sake of the necrophagous birds of the Pyrenees and have acquired big relevancy for the project of Reintroduction of the Black Vulture in Pyrenees. This 2015 the colony of this singular scavenger has kept on growing up to coming to 49 individuals and there have been 4 more couples those that they have incubated with regard to the year 2014; an unequivocal sign of good health status of the project. But it has been the project for the Conservation of the Lesser Grey Shrike (Lanius minor) which more developments have been introduced, with a record of birth of chicks in captivity (100 chicks) and with the implantation , pioneered with this species, of 33 geolocators in order to study their migration.

And one more year, somewhere near November, we harvest our characteristic oil salvatge in the farms where we carry out the Sustainable Agri-Environmental  Development project, and where there is located the Genetic Reserve of Mediterranean Turtle (Testudo hermanni hermanni); other of the projects that started not long ago but that advances satisfactorily. And it is, also here, in the Vall Major of Bovera, in the Region of Les Garrigues, where we have started and it is already giving its first steps our new Educational and Environmental Awareness project!.

For all this we want to thank all that with your support you encourage us in our way and to ask you to keep on doing it one more year!

See you next year!!
